Hadasah, spelled Hadasa or Hadassah, is from the Hebrew meaning
Myrtle Tree. It is a symbol of victory. (Kolatch, Alfred J. 1994 The New Name Dictionary) Hadasah was Queen Ester's Hebrew name. She was a type of savior/deliverer to her people, the Jews. Their deliverance from death was granted by their right to fight back. God put fear into the heart of their enemies. Some so fearful that they became Jews to avoid death.

Like Hadasah, our purpose is to point others to the only One who saves, Yeshu'a HaMachiach, Jesus The Messiah, meaning The Savior, The Anointed One.  He is our healer, our deliverer, our provider.

My name is Cecilia Broman. The type of art I create is from God's inspiration in me. I have always had an interest in words, art and love for God. The gifts and talents He gave me collided with who He is. Hebrew was the ideal language because people seem to be automatically drawn to its appearance. It opens
a door to speak of what is written and what Christ has done for us.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has
anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind
up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release
from darkness for the prisoners.    Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)
